Thanks for popping by and taking a look, apologies for not updating regularly if you have visited before. I'll promise to try harder to stay on top of things.

I have just recently uploaded a good number of pieces of work in an attempt to catch up and keep my gallery current. There are many more manga and anime style pieces in the form of design and illustration commissions. Notably there are large collections of pieces which are portraits and sketch requests that I have done at shows and conventions.

I do portraits in pencil and coloured pencils, occasionally inks on request but they require longer. Unfortunately when I started doing the convention circuit I never used to keep track of the sketches I'd done, so once they were handed over I never saw them again. By my estimation there are probably a good 75-90 portraits and sketches I never photographed before handing over. If any visitors have a sketch from me that isn't recorded here I'd love to hear from you and perhaps get a scan of the piece.

I absolutely love doing these portraits the most at events. Not only do I get to meet so many lovely people, the training and practise has been invaluable. The sittings would take around 25 minutes when I first started but nowadays I can get it down to around 10 minutes. I have been clocked at 8 minutes 45 seconds for one particular portrait I did for someone once the show had ended and we were being ushered out. Speed wasn't the goal for it's own sake. It was about efficiency and proficiency. I believe the portraits have been getting better even though they were being finished quicker. Anyway, judge for yourself.
